Hello bloggers!
So, we at Neckbeard headquarters have been pretty busy. We have been scattered across the globe while still getting ready for the fall. I went on tour with my ska band Angry Banana while Andrew, Evan, and Alex worked on their other musical projets, High in One Eye and Dosius. Andrew went to New York with his girlfriend to do cool stuff while Evan was on a boat. No really, he works on a boat. Alex made ice cream and wrote songs with his other band Dosius. They are awesome check them out if you have Facebook, GO MARSE! Now, I'm in California on vacation. Before I left on vacation, Neckbeard pulled a crazy stunt. We locked ourselves in our practice with no cell phones and played music for a week straight. We had a shitty shower and a hot plate for food
. Oh yeah, there was no AC. Are we crazy? yeah probably, but did we become closer as people and better muscians? Oh yeah. It was amazing. We played a show with Blackbelt and Meadow Flow at Banks Street bar and that was wicked fun. Thanks Pat Bailey for the show, we love you and SWAK. Blackbelt is for sure, one the most original bands in NOLA, so we were honored to play with them. "Pain is a Flower!" When I get back we are playing a show July 25th with I Octopus, Motion Turns It On, and Wildfires at the Dragon's, 10pm as usual. So we are sorry for not being around myspace. I will remember to check you more often. I put up a new video of us playing "Who Goes To Baton Rouge?!" at Loyola, check it out.
